Our Story
We began this journey after recognising a need for clothing which allowed for the difficulties of dressing due to various health issues. Owner and creator Kate was working in mammography and noticed many women had experienced a rash underneath their breasts, which was tender and made the skin fragile. Kate's mother who was in Aged Care, and no longer wore a bra, the rash her mother experienced was constant and required ongoing nursing attention. She decided she needed to find a way of reducing discomfort, and continual skin-on-skin irritation while in Care prompted the start of Ninneez.
